The only “Palace Hotel” in the Algarve, and part of the select club of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is now revealed in all its splendour, providing a unique experience in the south of Portugal.
Lush and romantic
Characterized by the rich and decorative architecture resulting from the restoration of a 18th century palace, while preserving its original features, the Pousada Palácio Estoi has 63 rooms, French-style gardens, an outdoor swimming pool with a view of the sea and the mountains, as well as all the amenities of the 21st century.
The reception area is in the old Chapel, which, with its Luís XV style, is dedicated to the Sagrada Família. In collaboration with the Faro Municipal Museum, the old reception area has become a new exhibition area with a museum dedicated to the history of the region and its various influences: Roman, Islamic, and classical.
The mix of Neoclassical, Neo-rococó and Art Nouveau styles continues to be visible in every corner of this Pousada, including its salons, which now feature more classic furniture.
The Pousada Palácio Estoi is a Monument Hotel with 63 rooms, 38 superior rooms and 3 suites.
The rooms are comfortable and feature minimalist and modern furniture as well as plenty of natural light. The indoor gardens are spread throughout the hallways and create a comfortable and almost intimate atmosphere.
The Palácio de Estoi offers common areas on the 3rd floor, as well as original palace halls, recently restored. The Visconde restaurant with contemporary and local cuisine, is in the old palace kitchen.

The Palace bar is inside the palace and retains the old China cabinet, which displays some wines which can accompany your meal. But the strength, both at the bar service as at the restaurant is the amazing terrace where you can dine calmly, with the Algarve countryside scenery giving even more emphasis on the flavours that you will experience.

Pousada Palácio Estoi is ideal for memorable events, offering unique settings such as the São José chapel, neo-rococo and neoclassical style halls, gardens, and old stables.
The spaces can be personalized and fully reserved for intimate and grand events, such as weddings or parties.
You can hold ceremonies in the Pousada’s chapel or the village church. The halls accommodate up to 50 people, while the meadow garden can host up to 170. The old stables provide a tranquil and adaptable environment for meetings or celebrations.
