Two iconic buildings at Praça Marquês de Pombal
Located in the historic centre, Pousada Vila Real de Santo António is housed in two iconic buildings: the Edifício da Alfândega and the Edifício da Igreja, which both have a prime location in Praça Marquês de Pombal, the city’s central square.
Urban and stylish
The Edifício da Alfândega has 40 rooms, and the Pousada reception is located in this building. The Edifício da Igreja has 17 rooms and is located right in front, on the opposite side of the square.
To get into the relaxed holiday spirit, you can also enjoy a plunge pool style pool on the rooftop, where you can get a glimpse of the neighbouring country, as well as the Guadiana River, the lighthouse, and where you can enjoy the stunning colours of the sunsets.
A few steps away, the Edifício da Igreja invites you to immerse yourself in its modern atmosphere, where you can relax in complete tranquillity and take a dip in yet another stylish plunge pool that is located in the interior courtyard of this building.
