Built in the former Hospital de São Teotónio, dating from 1842 and completely rebuilt and adapted by architect Gonçalo Byrne in 2009, the Pousada, with views of the historic part of the city, is an important landmark in the most peaceful city centre in Portugal.
The Pousada also offers a restaurant, a bar and conference rooms. The rooms are spacious with balconies featuring great views.

Start with a sphere of alheira with Serra da Estrela cheese on a bed of wild rocket and red onion jam.
