The room that today houses the main Suite was the birthplace of Constable Nuno Álvares Pereira, an important figure in Portugal’s history. Covered in stone, with a large
canopy bed and balcony, it offers guests a unique experience.

architect Carrilho da Graça, the rooms offer

This is the most impressive room of the Pousada, measuring 42 m2. The story goes that D. Nuno Álvares Pereira, the Holy Constable of the Kingdom of Portugal, was born there. A room made completely of stone, with a huge fireplace and a central canopy bed. It has a very romantic balcony and a bathroom with shower and bath. It is truly a room for kings and queens.
