The Pousada Mosteiro Crato is located in the village of Flor da Rosa, county of Crato, in the middle of Alto Alentejo, 72 miles from the city of Portalegre.

Dine at the Pousada's restaurant and discover the richness of Alentejana cuisine, with views of the gardens and swimming pool. There are two bars, one indoor bar at the site of the ancient monks' mess hall and the other, only available in the summer, is the secondary pool bar.
The Pousada's rooms are distributed along the wings. In the Old Wing, which is where the Monastery was, you will find the Superior Historic Rooms and Suites, even inside the castellated towers.
In the New Wing you will find our Superior Rooms each with a generous amount of space and dazzling views of the Alentejana lowlands.

There are two bars: an indoor one, in the old monk cafeteria, with a piano where you can play and help make the atmosphere even more magical. Below the cafeteria is the tank that provided water to the monastery in every seasons.
In the summer, the pool bar is perfect with its range of light meals and snacks you don't have to interrupt your peace of mind for nothing.
