Casa Lidador is both the most historical and most innovative
Pousada in Óbidos. This is historic because it is worth mentioning that this very building was the host of the hotel chain’s prototype in 1940. As a “training hotel”, this was also the place where some of the ideas and values that today define our national tourism emerged. Innovative, because it opened the doors to a
new concept of Pousada, allowing guests to use the facilities more independently.
Instead of a restaurant, Casa Lidador has a shared kitchen. This means you can buy the excellent regional produce in local shops and swap recipes with the other guests. After all, the best friendships are formed sitting around the same table.
This new concept features a self-check-in solution, with local support from the Pousada Castelo de Óbidos reception, available 24 hours a day.
