​One of the great advantages of spending a few days in the Azores - and especially in Faial - is the possibility of experiencing a world still in a harmonious state with the nature that surrounds it. The landscape is breathtaking, from whatever angle you find to observe it. You may choose to put on your sneakers and go through the hiking trails that lead to the natural wonders of the island. But there is much more to do on this island.

In Faial, you can go boating, horsebackriding or cycling, at your own pace and with all the world's time to watch birds or cetaceans, streams or ponds - the choice is yours. Marvel at the profusion of different shades of blue that you can find between massive hydrangeas and with a depth that the intense green of the boiler reaches. Sport fishing is also a way to meet and spend more time in contact with nature.
